New York Yankees have won the most: 27. Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bay Rays have not won one yet.

The source database carries more than two hundred franchises, and most of them lasted one season. What that means for the pages here, and where the rest of the record lives.

Only clubs that are still playing have a page here. The source database carries more than two hundred franchises, and most of them lasted a single season — the Union Association of 1884, the Players' League of 1890 and the Federal League of 1914 accounted for dozens between them. A page for each would be a page with one line on it. The thirty here are the clubs with twenty or more seasons, which turns out to be exactly the thirty that are still playing: the thirty-first has eighteen and folded in 1899. Those seasons are not missing from the site — they are in the season pages and in the players' own career tables.
